FAQs
Can you block inappropriate media in a report?
ARS features two methods to block inappropriate content uploaded in a tip. First, the tipster can mark the file(s) as inappropriate blocking anyone from viewing them. Second, our incident response specialists can block files while monitoring or vetting the tip. The result is staff will not be able to view until an authorized official requests to view it.
What makes Lightspeed StopIt better than the free tip line from my state?
Lightspeed StopIt gives you complete visibility and control, which you won’t get from a state tip line. This gives you the comprehensive view into the safety and wellbeing of your schools and students that you need.
What is the difference between StopIt and HelpMe?
Both are anonymous reporting systems, and when you buy one you get both so it’s more about how you want to set it up in your schools. StopIt is focused on reporting on others while HelpMe is focused on getting help for yourself.
I didn’t know Lightspeed made StopIt?
Lightspeed Systems acquired StopIt in 2025. We share a passion and a mission and we’re excited to bring our leading solutions and dedicated teams together to keep schools safer!
